Beautify Your Yard
Members of Overbrook Farms Club now have access to wholesale plants from Sam Brown’s Nursery!
Through the advocacy of neighbor Ginny Duerr, the Overbrook Farms Club has secured purchasing access to the wholesale (trades only) Sam Brown's Nursery, which is renowned for the quality of its plant stock, specializing in trees and shrubs.
Members of the Overbrook Farms Club may purchase plants at wholesale prices from Sam Brown's during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Their prices are excellent. The nursery keeps many plants in inventory, but large orders or special requests can be made. If you are ordering a large number of plants, it is recommended to place orders for the spring planting season by mid December, and for the fall planting season, by mid August.
Sam Brown's is a wholesale nursery only. So, here's how it works for our community:
This offer is for Members of the Overbrook Farms Club. More information on becoming a Member is HERE. If you're not sure if you're a member, email us.
Visits or direct calls to the nursery are not encouraged. As a wholesale nursery, they only work with professional landscapers and horticulturalists. They are not equipped to handle general consumers or walk-up customers.
Business terms and other FAQs about Sam Brown’s can be found HERE.
All orders must be placed through Ginny Duerr or Thaddeus Squire, whom the nursery has designated as our community's points of contact. The process is:
Send an email to overbrookfarmsplants [at] gmail.com, and Thaddeus or Ginny will reply.
We will send you the password for the current Sam Brown’s plant inventory list, which may be downloaded in PDF format HERE.
You place your order through Thaddeus or Ginny (at the above email address), who will share your email and other contacts with the nursery.
The nursery will be in touch with you directly about payment and when plants will be available for pick up. You make your own arrangements for pick up and planting.
NOTE! Sam Brown's plant list only uses the Latin (scientific) names. If you are unfamiliar with plants, not sure what you want, or don't want to wade through the scientific names, Thaddeus and Ginny are available on a volunteer basis to consult or pay a quick visit to your property. Ginny is a professional horticulturalist. Thaddeus is a knowledgeable hobbyist. Contact them at: overbrookfarmsplants [at] gmail.com
Happy gardening!
